The CSS Starter Page Series Part 7: Adding A Spry Menu Bar

In this installment of the CSS Starter Page series, we are going to segue into exploring Spry widgets by continuing where we left off - that is with trying out different navigation schemes. We're going to add a Spry Menu Bar to the Photo Gallery page of our layout to accommodate the numerous sub categories of images we might have in that section of the site.

This tutorial will take you through the following tasks:

  • Setting up a site definition - very important for ensuring that the Spry Widget works once you upload the files
  • Inserting the Spry Menu Bar widget
  • Customizing the menu items (link text) for each link and its sublinks
  • Styling the menu
