The CSS Starter Page Series - Part 9: Working with the Conditional Comment

Welcome back to another installment of the CSS Starter Page series. We've spent quite a bit of time on navigation systems and Spry Widgets in the most recent tutorials. Now we'll switch gears to work with something a little less sexy, and that is the Conditional Comments that reside in the heads of most CSS Starter Pages. These Conditional Comments address issues that make layouts look different in various versions of Internet Explorer browsers. The problems arise when an unsuspecting designer makes certain modifications to the layout, and then fails to realize that those changes require some adjustments to the Conditional Comments as well.

In this tutorial, we'll look at what we need to change in the IECC (Internet Explorer Conditional Comments) when we want to balance the top headings in the columns and when we need to change the width of the sidebar column.

This tutorial includes support files so you can play along at home.
